This being rural France there is a large street market (every Wednesday and in the same position for the last 800 years) selling a wonderful range of locally produced fresh vegetables, meats, bread, and craftware, etc.
The surrounding area:
To the south of the property and within 5 minutes by foot there is a lake and park where one can fish, walk, picnic, and during the summer make use of the warm waters of the large open-air swimming pools. Within a few minutes by bike or on foot there are many traffic-free paths and lanes where you can cycle and walk in safety with long views of the scenic countryside and the often snow-capped Pyrennes in the distance.

A short mild Winter with typical daytime temperatures from 10ºc to 21ºc. Spring is delightful and pullovers long put away. Long warm summers, (with pleasantly cooler nights) that go on forever. A colourful Autumn that slowly completes the year.
